FacetView has a strong commitment to protect the privacy and the information of its visitors of its website at http://www.fecetview.net/ (“Website”) and/or other users of its services.
This Privacy Policy statement (“Privacy Policy”) aims to ensure the protection of your privacy, and also to assist you in understanding how FacetView treat your information, while using FacetView's software, Website and/or any other services, as may be offered from time to time (collectively referred to as “Services”).
Acceptance of Policy
By using the Services, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any of the provisions as set in this Privacy Policy, you have no right to use any of the Services.
If you intend to use FacetView's Website, this Privacy Policy should read together with the Terms of Use Agreement, and together they constitute the entire agreement between you and FacetView. In addition to this Privacy Policy and to the Terms of Use Agreement, you may have entered into an additional commercial agreement with FacetView. In such event, the terms of such commercial agreement shall constitute an integral part of this Privacy Policy and of the Terms of Use.
Scope of This Privacy Policy Statement
This Privacy Policy describes how FacetView collects and treats your information while you are using the Services.
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” shall mean information which is identifiable to an individual user of the Services, primarily being e-mail, name and address of such individual. “Anonymous Information” shall mean information which does not enable identification of an individual user.
Changes of the Privacy Policy
FacetView reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time by publishing the revised Privacy Policy on the Website. The revised Privacy Policy shall become effective within thirty (30) days of such publication. Your continued use of the Services after expiry of the notice period of thirty (30) days, shall constitute your acceptance to be bound by the terms and conditions of the revised Privacy Policy.
How FacetView Collects and Uses Personal Information
FacetView will not collect any Personally Information, except when such information is voluntary provided by you. FacetView does not require you to provide Personal Information in order to have access to information available on the Website. However, certain parts of the Services may require you to provide FacetView its affiliated companies and trusted third party service providers and contractors, with Personal Information, each for the purposes for which it was submitted by you.
Personal Information shall be used, collected and stored by FacetView to respond to you or to process, validate, and verify service requests and to perform the requested Services.
You may also provide FacetView with your contacts’ email addresses to sign up for the FacetView mailing list for receiving updates, newsletters or news and notices regarding the Services. You may easily remove yourself from our mailing list by following the instructions provided under the email you will receive from us.
FacetView may always retain and use your information as necessary to comply with its legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce FacetView's agreements.
As further described in Terms of Use Agreement, FacetView uses the Website as a platform to present and make accessible to its users, images, photographs, illustrations and 3d simulations of stones and/or diamonds owned by its users (“Content”). Although FacetView exclusively owns all right and title in such Content, the Content available on the Website will not identify the owner of the stones and/or diamonds to any third party, other than as required by law.
Except for purposes stated expressly in this Privacy Policy, FacetView's will not use your Personal Information.
How FacetView Collects and Uses Anonymous Information
FacetView may collect and store certain Anonymous Information in the course of your use of the Services. This Anonymous Information may include information regarding the IP Address and Geo-IP parameters, time of usages, and other information regarding the type and manner of use of the Services.
FacetView may use such Anonymous Information by itself and/or through third parties' web analytics services to understand how its users use the Services, to analyze retention, to ensure that the Services are up to date, and to improve the Services and enhance the experience of the users.
Cookies and Clear Gifts Policy
While FacetView uses third parties' web analytics services as aforesaid, such third parties may collect Anonymous Information, such as information concerning your use of Websites and preferences, by using various types of cookies and clear gifts. Cookies, which are small text files, stored on your computer, in order to improve the performance of the Services and collect data which enhance the functionality and offering of the Services. Clear gifts are tiny graphics with a unique identifier (but not retain any personally identifiable information), which are used to count your visits/clicks to web pages while using the Services. It is your choice whether to accept or reject cookies/clear gifts and you can set your browser to reject cookies/clear gifts or to delete these cookies/clear gifts. FacetView may use certain trusted third party companies and individuals to help FacetView to provide, analyze, and improve the Services (including but not limited to, data storage, maintenance services, database management, web analytics, and improvement of the Services’ features). These third parties may have access to your information only for purposes of performing these tasks on FacetView's behalf and under obligations similar to those in this Privacy Policy.
Except as described herein, FacetView will not sell, rent or otherwise provide any information of yours to any third party. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, FacetView will provide the Services in full compliance with any applicable law, and accordingly FacetView reserves the right to disclose any gathered information as required by law and when FacetView believes that such disclosure is necessary to protect its rights, the integrity of the Services, FacetView's systems and technology, and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served in connection with the Services.
Children's Privacy
FacetView is committed to protect children’s privacy and to follow the laws, regulations and guidelines in regard to children's privacy. In accordance, the Services are not intended to children under the age of 18 and FacetView will never knowingly accept or solicit information from a user known to be under the age of eighteen 18.
Feedback
FacetView may, from time to time, ask you to provide information regarding your experience while using the Services, for the purpose of measuring and improving the quality of the Services and the user's experience. This feedback is very important to us, but you are not obligated to provide any information. However, any and all information that you voluntarily choose to provide us in feedback forms, and any survey that you may participate in, shall be used solely and anonymously for the purpose of reviewing the feedback and improving our Services.
Information Security
FacetView is committed to protect the security of its users’ information and takes reasonable measures available to assure information security. However, no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure and FacetView cannot guarantee its absolute security. By using the Services, you expressly agree that FacetView will not be liable for any third party action, misuse, or infringement of data and information security.
Assignment
If FacetView, in the future, go through business transition such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be among the assets transferred and FacetView is allowed, at its sole discretion, to assign this Privacy Policy or any rights hereunder to any such third party acquirer of FacetView or its assets, without giving prior notice.
